Air Force Station Attack : Forces arrest duo in South Kashmir | KNO

Combined Forces have arrested a contractor and his associate in connection with Air Force Station attack in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Police sources said that 55 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, 183 Battalion CRPF and Special Operation Group of Jammu Kashmir Police during a nocturnal raid arrested two persons namely Abdul Rasheed Dar son of Wali Muhammad and Naseer Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi both residents of Malangpora Pulwama. Police sources added that Abdul Rasheed Dar is a contractor at Malangpora Air Force Station.

A police official while confirming their arrest said duo have been picked up for questioning related to Air Force Station attack. Pertinently, on February 20 last month, militants had attacked Guard Post at Air Force Station at Malangpora Pulwama resulting in the injuries of a security guard.
